This year Bosnia & Herzegovina will be represented by the rock group Regina with their entry for Eurovision 'Bistra Voda.' The Bosnian's will be taking part in the 1st semi-final under position #18.
Regina started off in 1990 with hits such as 'Sleep!, Do Not Ask Me and The Way She Was,' which were on the band's very first album titled simply 'Regina.' Their second album 'Love Is Not For Us' was then released in 1991, giving the band a lot of recognition not only in their country Bosnia & Herzegovina, but also in the former Yugoslavian countries. Unfortunately, due to the troubles in the early 90's, Regina decided to take time out on their career. At the turn of the Century, the band was reformed again with a new front man named Davor Ebner. Regina then released their comeback album which was titled 'I Can Do It All' and once again caught the attention of fans across Serbia, Montenegro and the FYR Macedonia. The band continue to grow from strength to strength attracting many more fans across Europe.
The band were internally selected by the broadcaster BHRT with all interested entrants submitting an entry which was then selected by a jury. Regina managed to top the former entrant of Bosnia & Herzegovina in 2006, Hari Mata Hari who made an attempt to return to the contest.
Bosnia & Herzegovina are seen as favourites to qualify for the final by many bookmakers and fans, but not to win the contest outright.
One former Eurovision entrant Hari Mata Hari (ESC 2006, Bosnia & Herzegovina) tried again this year, but lost out to Regina.

This is quite a good entry from Bosnia & Herzegovina and an excellent band who are representing the country, determined to give it their all. It is a song which is quite unique and not a typical song you would expect from Eurovision. With great instumental music breaks and great vocals from the lead singer, this song is ranked to make the Top 10. My only concern is that this song does not grab your attention on the first hearing. You need to listen to the song a few times for you to get a feel for it.
PREDICTION
Yes, I think that since Bosnia & Herzegovina have a good draw and a decent song. It will qualify, but I do not see this as a threat to any of the favourites this year.
