Lithuania will be represented in Moscow by the singer Sasha Son with the song 'Love' and it will be performed in the 2nd semi-final under position #14.
Sasha Son whose real name is Dima Šavrovas started off his music career at 12 years old. His major single to date is 'Mama,' which is still very popular in Lithuania. After spending eight years in London studying music, Sasha returned home to Lithuania where he has went on to win numerous awards. In 2008, Sasha made an attempt to represent the country at the Eurovision, but finished in third place.
The young Lithuanian singer was seen as the favourite and the one to beat before the national final. Therefore, it was of no surprise when Sasha Son was announced as the winner.
Lithuania is doing reasonably well in the polls which are online.
No former Eurovision stars took part in the Lithuanian selections.
