The group Flora De Lis will represent Portugal in Moscow with the song 'Todas As Ruas Do Amor' in the 1st semi-final under position #16.
Daniela Varela is the group's vocalist and can be heard beside Pedro Marques on percussion, Jose Camacho on guitar, Jorge Marques on cavaquinho, Paulo Pereira on the flute and Ana Sofia Campeã on the accordion. The lead vocalist Daniela showed a great interest in music from an early age and has starred in musicals and plays during her childhood.
After a round of online voting, twelve songs were selected to go through to the National Final where a combination of jury and televoting was used to determine the winner. IN the end, it was the band Flora De Lis who won the ticket to Moscow.
Portugal are doing quite well online with all the fan polls and are seen as one of the favourites to qualify from the semi-final in May.
Luciana Abreu who was part of the duo 2B (ESC 2005) made a return to the contest and finished in 3rd place.

DIARMUID'S THOUGHTS
Quite a nice folk song from Portugal which reminds me of their entry in 1998 when the contest was held in Birmingham. This is the perfect follow up to their great placing last year. Portugal is definitely a song to be watching out for.
PREDICTION
A definite qualifier and very capable of causing a few shocks.
