The Swiss band Lovebugs will represent the country in Moscow with the rock song 'The Highest Heights' in the 1st semi-final under position #8.

The Lovebugs come from Basel and were established in 1992 by Adrian Sieber and Sebastian Hausmann and drummer Julie. Over the years, the band have become quite popular with ten albums under the band's belt along with many Top 20 Hit Singles in the country. The style of music the band play comes across as being hypnotic combined with a driving beat.

It was the Swiss Broadcaster who internally selected the Lovebugs to represent them in the Eurovision competition and feel that they are more than capable of giving a memorable performance.

Most online fan polls suggest that Switzerland will make the Eurovision and are definitely in with a shot of getting a Top 10 placing.
