Hadise will sing 'Düm Tek Tek' for Turkey in this year's Eurovision in the 1st semi-final under position #9.
Although born in Belgium, Hadise was the daughter of a Turkish immigrant couple. Her music career took off in 2003 when she entered 'Pop Idol' and it all started from there. Her first single 'Sweat' was a huge success in the charts and this gained a lot of interest amongst the Belgian audience. The next single released from Hadise was 'Stir Me Up' which was even more popular. As well as having a sucessful singing career, Hadise is also experienced in presenting on TV. One of the most popular shows she has presented included the Belgian version of 'The X Factor.'
Hadise was chosen internally by the Turkish Broadcaster TRT to represent them in Moscow.
This song from Turkey is seen as one of the favourites to win the contest and is quite popular amongst many Eurovision fans as well as the bookmakers.
